I should note killing nonhostiles is not all that easy. It took me a while to figure out throwing a heavy object them (via 'v') is the way to do it.

It is really confusing to talk to Jeffery after finding the tomb and the blood and not getting a continuation to the story. It should at least let you say "I did as you asked...here is what I found..."

OK I admit I am stumped. I've obtained both artifacts but I can't seem to get a third result at all. If I opt to not kill the mayor I get no further messages from the game concerning the quest. I figured going back to the temple after finding the blood would be enough but apparently that isn't so and talking to the mayor gives no leads. If you left clues they are too subtle for me. Try killing Ophelia.

Even went down again to make sure I didn't goof and miss something crucial. The bottom floor was empty as expected.

It's been a while since I did that quest, but I believe you need to go in Jindar at some point, in the graveyard.
I guess a walkthrough would be useful, but I'd have to redo the quest.

Killed Ophellia...which is what started me looking for tomb in the first place... you kill O instead of M and J sends you to find B in Jindar's graveyard...You find that M was telling the truth (of a sort at least) and are given a quest to kill J (the dirty liar?) and the bodiless voice disappears after that. J does not acknowledge that you followed his directions when you get back giving you no outs except to kill him. If you kill him and go back to O's Tomb the voice then gives you the sword (which is ridiculous since even if I used Katanas with my Rogue I wouldn't use it since it has 5!!! Misfortune. Not at all a positive outcome though a good one for the story I suppose.

Again, for me too, it's been a long time, and I don't exactly remember the sequence you have to follow.

A wrong TURN??? How? It is very clear how B's tomb plays out (it is empty now so the result of finding O's blood in it must have cleared it.) I get that its been too long for anyone but I get the feeling this quest wasn't complete.

Ok, I just did that part, and there MAY be a small bug, but it won't break the quest.
After visiting B's tomb, I went and spoke to the mayor. He had the same dialog as before, and had to select the first option. Then, once the conversation ended, I had to speak to him AGAIN. This is a minor bug that should be fixed. But it will work after that.
You also must not kill the mayor.

And do yourself a favor... go in abilities.lua, and comment out the code that gives the cooldown to Jump.
The next part is all about skillful use of Jump. It may take a few tries.
(don't get frustrated with that part please. It probably needs to be redone for 0.5. In 0.4, it was a lot easier...)
EDIT: Ok, it turns out it is possible to do without fighting OR jumping. Just have to find the secret switch.

You're right...way too hard. Not even possible to do it with my current character. I have 125 md and it does nothing vs Nightmares. same with Defense and Agility. Also could not hit them at all using Sneak Attack and barely with just regular stealthy Fighting (both at 10) So yeah. Not up to it.

If there is a better purely combat build I could use I guess I could reincarnate. Already died twice needlessly so another death won't matter (I have all blues/yellows eternalized though not fully leveled as that would take millions more gold than I can get easily.)

And nevermind all that. OK now that I've done it I am a little disappointed game wise and satisfied story wise. Things make a lot more sense now.
