Are exploding potions like Molotovs and the like still hard coded? I have some what I consider fun ideas for new potions I was considering trying out, but I didn't know if it was possible yet.

Right now, yes, they're hard-coded, but I have plans for potions. I plan on making them all element-based, in that when you drink a potion, you get affected by an element, and the power is increased by your Alchemy skill.
The advantage to this is that by doing so, ALL potions could become throwable, making the alchemy skill that much better. There would be a much wider array of potions, and it would allow some fun combos, like throwing a potion of heroism in the middle of your pack of summoned creatures to enhance them, and other fun stuff. And since elements can be scripted, you could create new types of potions!

That sounds good. I haven't had a character do much with potions yet, but, with upgrades and expansions, it could be fun to try it. With the extra ability with alchemy, that could make a gnome an interesting character to at least play with.
