I am playing a paladin under 0.2 and have Wisdom at 10 currently, intelligence is 7, and my SP is at 8. I ma trying to create some basic spells, e.g. Heal, and select slot 1, create the spell requiring a mana of 6, then try and save it. It says that it has created the spell, but when I go to the spell book, it is blank. What is going on? Am i unable to create spells in this way?

What are you naming the spell? Are you actually chosing to create the spell as the last option? Are you doing any thing else wierd?

After you name the spell, make sure you press the "c" key. I tried it with the Healing you mentionned, and it worked. Perhaps you were pressing enter?

I now appears to be able to create spells. It might just be that once you have created a spell, if you go to do another, when it asks which slot, it doesn't display what you have already created. How easy is this to do?

Hmmm... not exactly sure how I would go about doing this.... Where exactly could we display the already used effects?

I believe totallyang is asking for a list of created spells. After first choosing to make a spell, you are prompted for which slot to put the spell in, but you are not shown which slots are already in use.

Oh, I see.
There could be an easy way to fix it, and it's to simply display the spells menu when prompting which slot you want to use. You could then select it just like you select a spell when you cast one. That's not difficult to do, and would be easier.

That's what I was suggesting. Thanks grindorin for clarifying.
