Though I did manage to beat it after dying a bunch it required every last point in every last item I had to do it. And even then it was far too close. The next battle is definitely impossible and getting back after dying is really a pain.
I know these aren't bug reports per se but this is definitely a case of broken game. Can't deal with teleport on hit summoners who bring in things that can 1 hit you. just stupid.

I can confirm that the 10 ability of Rogue does NOT affect the blackmarket's max values over 45. That is the highest depth item I found in the blackmarket after scumming it repeatedly. I think this has greatly to do with the town's value limits though I don't know where that is changed. I noticed putting a blackmarket in Udor didn't show the regular high end items as well. Which makes sense. Udor being a low level starting town should cap the item max level. Jindar on the other hand is a metropolis. It sucks that items no higher than 45 show up there.

I tested this theory by putting a BM in Ivhala and discovered that the cap rose 5 depths to 50. Also noticed that never did a material higher than Mithral show up even though level 50 items including a staff of *destruction* and some high level spells and a gun did so there is also some kind of restriction on what materials show up too.

I was doing the math on the mutations and it looks like they multiply by 2 or 3 instead of simply adding (or subtracting to the stats).

Finally I found an adamantine saber...yay...oh wait no! it is 16 pounds. For my strategy I need swords that weigh LESS than 10lbs not more...like my lovely mithril (depth 40) sabers. Why is the depth 60 material so much heavier. I mean I understand different materials having different base weights but the adamantine rapiers aren't 16lbs...they are 8. What gives???

Still doing negative damage...any fix for this? I managed to do it with a Lightning Strike.

It appears that the level 10 rogue ability for the Blackmarket doesn't work at all (on some monsters). Just killed a random mob in the dungeon with 8 points in it and no gold.
I take that back. I didn't notice that the gold was going directly to my hand.

It seems the 'Divination' Spell that the Diviner is famous for does not work. It does not even give a fail message. I've checked this using divinations ranging from 31 to 50 vs Monsters in that range. Nothing has worked.

I'm fairly certain I reported this when instruments first came out. Divine Items does not give instruments magical abilities and does not enhance already magical instruments.

For some reason Word of Recall scrolls don't work with the Ancient Mines, treating them as if they were a random dungeon.

The reason the divination spells were not working is because Divination gets converted to chaos from the Zulgor and then ceases to work. I think this is a bug but maybe that was the plan? Perhaps a note of warning on the spell if that is the case.
In other news I discovered that divination * level does not do full damage to creatures of the same depth and level as the spell...it seems to do about 65% damage. This is very consistent.

While we are talking about broken rogue abilities...what exactly IS the use of Hide? Not once has it stopped a monster from swinging at me when I have had it activated. Seems like it should just be scrapped.

Another weirdness with Divine Items: Boomerangs/Chakrum can be magical but can't be enhanced by Divine Items. Add this to the list of items undivinable along with torches/lanterns and instruments.
