Not sure what triggers the second level prisons/trapped bug. I played two celestials and a monster race and got trapped all three times. Did you change any of the options for the second time around, harkejuice?

I'll do that quest with my current character, and see if the bug happens.

Did you use an elemental type that you're immune to? Did you use a special melee attack? (Any "U" abilities will not be returned) Elf Bard with no special abilities no 'U' abilities no spells no songs (very hard to begin btw since there has been no instrument in sight so far.) Bee Sting Dagger equipped. I'm not immune to poison as far as I know.

If not, it may be that you actually took damages, but they are so tiny that you didn't notice them. 50% of 1d3 is hardly noticeable. This means you'll take no damages on a 1, and 1 damage on a 2 or 3.

Did you change any of the options for the second time around, harkejuice? Not really, just the usual stuff I do with my eyes closed: base delay, window flags, no autopickup, e.t.c. Nothing to do with level generation, but I'll try a newer build and see whats what.

I'm going to double post here so i can upload my saves, the first one is me trapped already, since if i try to leave the first level, it traps me anyways. The second one is before I even enter the prison dungeon. I tried turning the small level generation options off, (they were enabled by default) but to no avail. www.harkejuice.com/hostedfiles/Awesomesarus_Trappedwww.harkejuice.com/hostedfiles/Awesomesarus_gonna git trapped ****edit**** Just made a dwarven monk and ran through the first quests and I got stuck in the same level, exiting from the first floor also results in the stuck room. Don't see a point to getting unstuck, as the quest itself would be undoable if it keeps happening :/

Just thought I'd note that I have the same issue. Cowardly demon bard in the stuck room. I pretty much used darkness passive with create song to get there.

It appears to be possible to wield a "must be wielded two handed" weapon (e.g. quarterstaff) and a shield at the same time...

I had the same problem entering the fight with the kobold under the jail. I aborted and reloaded, and it worked like normal the second time. I didn't change any settings, so I don't know why it worked one time and not the other.

Okay, so that makes 4 people (rotekian, harkejuice, surprise and me) who get surrounded by 4 impenetrable walls in the 2nd floor of the Udor prison! And all of us are relatively new to the forums. We've tried multiple characters, multiple options with no luck of resolving the issue.
It's especially frustrating for me because I like to follow the story line and this bug interrupts the main story line. I don't want to skip Udor and go straight to Jindar.

I've tried aborting and reloading dozens of times...
*edit*
It appears that trying to go down to the 2nd floor of Udor prison or trying to go up back to town both result in trapped!

This is really minor, but I noticed that 'h' is still listed as unused in the command list. It's used for music, isn't it? Are there any other commands that are new/changed that aren't updated?

In relation to the wall-stuck bug, I just bypassed the mayors place on that part of the quest and did some wilderness dungeon diving for a level or two, then came back and it was fixed!
What I think happened, and how I think you should proceed to fix this on your saves:
Go west of the town and dive down to the ranodm dungeon there, you might want to try something low-depth maybe 50-150 depending on how uber your build is at such a low level...then make it down to the bottom floor and beat the boss and get out, go back to the prison and you should be able to exit back out the stairs and continue with the quest no problem.
I tried this with both my human monk and Awesomesarus save which I posted.
****update****
Okay, it has returned on the last floor of the sewers after killing the Q, but the weird thing is, it lets me escape back the way I came, but if i try to progress, it will stick me in boring room. I'm speculating that if I were to go and clear the bottom level of another dungeon, it would fix again...for how long, who knows. Maybe theres something in the bottom-level on-enter code?

I'll see if I can reproduce this bug. It's strange that it's all new peoples here who are getting it. But I'll take a look.

You are right! Thanks for the semi-fix! Maybe it has something to do with the automatic stairs. It seems if you have to hit "<" or ">", then it works, but if simply walking onto stairs makes you descend or ascend (as with some quest levels), then it might trigger the bug.
