This wouldn't be the sword I already returned to walmus in fidac is it?
Incidentally, it's possible to jump past the locked door to enter the dungeon. You might want to force the stair to be dark so I can't jump to it.
Edit: added spoiler notification.

You should perhaps put in the topic that this could contain some spoilers! Anyway, I was certain you couldn't jump on stairs!! Hmm, thanks for reporting this one, I'll make sure it's no longer possible. As for the sword, yes, it is indeed the sword you gave to Walmus. You won't get it back, so if you did give it to him, you won't be able to enter the Lake Shrine(at least, you're not supposed to be!). It is intended this way as a lesson that in the quests I am making, sometimes, doing exactly what you're told by the first person you meet might not always be the right thing to do. That said, if swords aren't your speciality, the ring he gave you might actually be more useful, since there are nasty invisible enemies, including a boss you'll probably have to face if you wish the enter the castle of Jindar! (I say "probably", because there's two other ways to enter the castle... but I'll let you find those. )
