Adding pval increases the value of new resists, but not existing ones. Adding the same resist a second time stacks, although the chance is random. Assuming that isn't a bug, I'm trying to decide how much increasing the pval would help before I turn my new bolts into ultimate resist items. It's 40k to increase the pval by 1, and 3k to add resists. Each pval is worth 2% on new resists.

I'm also wondering if adding some abilities a second time has any affect. Telepathy and permanent light for instance.

Telepathy twice is useless. Multiple Light will actually stack, but the maximum radius is 5, so the stacking is rather limited.
