Bottom level of undead dungeon

OK guys, I have got to the bottom, and dispatched a group of skeletons, and as I have telepathy, I can see other baddies around, but I can't get at them!
Teleportation doesn't work.
I can't tunnel as its all permanent rock.
I've searched till the end of the world (well dinner perhaps), so what do I do now?
Where is the clue Variaz? What have I destroyed that I really should have kept?
Help please !!!!

I've tried that.
I have pasted the following into Q12 and resaved the file.
E:1:16:9:57:17:1:0:0:0:0

Doesn't seem to have done anything or made any difference.

What am I doing wrong please?
I really have no idea what this is supposed to have done so some guidance would be great!

heh heh...

Besides the bug that Jakobian found, it's just a puzzle level! Some switch makes the walls open, but some other switch CLOSE the walls! If you do it wrong, you may have to restart the level. Be confident, and you will succeed!
