Problem with parchments

I dont seem to be able to read any parchment.

Basically those of craft or alchemy, and also those about lost dwarf languages or whatnot.

The error I get is always:

"Cannot open 'book-0.txt'"

where the number of the book varies with the parchment.

Am I missing any files?

I believe I fixed that, though maybe not on the currently available beta.... Probably will be fixed in the next release.

I think the latest download has this fixed.
The previous one though didn't.
I suggest that benigno checks which he has although how do you tell the version running?
I think the welcome screen still says "early alpha"

Didn't check the welcome screen... should probably update it. I guess he should just download the latest beta, and see if it works better.

Ok, I have downloaded version 3 of latest beta, and this is fixed.

I bump into another problem though. Its probably best I open another post.
