Strength: Will raise your damages. Dexterity: Will give you hit rate.... and a dex 30 will give you MORE than 300 to_hit, due to that +5% for every dex points! Also, it will raise your damages if using a bow/crossbow/sling.... AND melee damages if you have some points in Weapon Finesse! Intelligence: hmmm.... use it before you level up to gain an extra skill point! But I admit this one is not too useful... Wisdom: Useful is you are using wisdom-based spellcasting. Also allow you to resist confusion, fear and paralysis spells more easily if you don't have the immunities to these. You can also use it before you level up to gain an extra skill point! Constitution: Well... All right, this one may not be that useful, unless you combine it with some healing magic. Charisma: Higher charisma = better monsters damages/hit rate. Use it before a fight, and your dragon army will become more devastating! So, I would say that besides the Constitution and Intelligence ones, the other ones are very useful, depending on what type of characters you are building.

Hey Variaz,
How does the mechanics of wisdom casting work specifically?

The bad thing about this question is that I that I wrote a guide to explain it... and just noticed I deleted it, and I had no backups of it... Anyway, when you wisdom-cast a spell, you will get a "casting strength" of 5 for every points of wisdom above 5. Then, a test between your casting strength and the spell's mana cost is done. A number from 1 to (Cast strength) is rolled versus a number from 1 to (mana cost). If your cast strength is higher or equal to the mana cost, it succeeds. Otherwise, it fails. If it fails, and the spell costed more than three times your casting strength, it will backfire. If your wisdom score is equal or greater to the spell's mana cost, it will ALWAYS succeed, no matter what. The priest's "Improved Wisdom Casting" ability can greatly enhance the power of wisdom-based casting, as it allow you to gain more than 5 points per wisdom, increase total strength, and allow you to cast bigger spells without the risk of backfiring. Also note that the Soul Guardians uses wisdom-based casting for their "Soul Power" spells. It works exactly the same way as normal spells.
