OK I have played NewAngband for a while now, but I have a question. What goes in the Z equipment slot?

Uh... I'm not sure about this one, but I believe this slot is some kind of a "left-over" from the old days that hasn't been removed (yet)... It has no function in the current version.

It's definitly a left-over... In the past, you could carry hypnotized pets... And you can still do it, although there is currently no abilities that turns monsters into "hypnotized pets"... So, yes, it's a left-over.
