I have some questions about the various properties that you can get through the magical items. What I would like to know is whether they are… er… “cumulative” (sorry for this word – I’ll explain myself) or not.
RESISTANCES: In Vanilla Angband, if I remember correctly, resistances were NOT cumulative. That means that you could have only one item of, say, acid resistance, or a dozen of them – and it would work the same. Resistances were applied once and only once, so there was basically no point in having more than one item of a certain resistance type. How does New Angband handle this?
STAT BOOSTERS: Of course, stat boosters ARE cumulative. If you have one item of, say, strength +2, and another of strength +1, your strength will be increased by 3.
And how about some of the other properties, especially those that can usually be granted by the tweakable items? Quick regeneration, for example? Would my character heal faster if I had two items with this property instead of one? How about sheaths? If I had two or more items with, say, a fiery sheath ability, would the enemies take three times more damage?
Is there anything else that I should know about how the various properties are handled?
Thanks!

CUMULATIVE BONUS: Stat Boosters Speed Booster Extra Attacks Life Boost Mana Boost Extra Light(to a maximum of radius 5)
Pretty much all other bonuses are not cumulative. Having two reneration or two slow digest items won't make any difference. As for resistances, I'll have to look at the resistance code to be sure, but I do believe having two items with the same resistance results in a better resistance... but it doesn't improve further afterwards.
