Variaz,
I hate to say it, but you've done a good job closing the loopholes on crafting! ;D
Denials so far:
1. "Summon Item" spell doesn't let me summon something I can decompose into crafting components
2. Tweaking items, I cannot set them to grant crafting or alchemy skill points. (BOOOOO! )
3. Cannot sell crafted items
The most obnoxious bit I've found so far has to do with Essence Transfer. I'd really like to pull a brand out to a potion of it's appropriate type (i.e. a poison brand gets pulled out to a poison potion.
There are a couple reasons for this;
1. Once you create a potion of the appropriate type, you've consumed the bits for creating it. Finding those bits are a pain in the butt, at least so far in my experience. It would be nice to be able to extract them again so if you later raise your alchemy skill, you can recombine them and get a higher power level.
2. If you come across a "branded" weapon with a brand of the appropriate type, you can pull out the potion components and make a potion from it.
Given the rarity of the components, you end up pretty hesitant to brand a weapon, or at least I do.
Also, I noted that I created a branded weapon with a few thousand poison brand. I pulled that out to a potion, then branded a different weapon from that potion, and ended up with about 10 power on the resulting brand. That doesn't quite seem right.
Haven't tried so far:
Pulling a brand from a weapon into a potion which would already apply a brand, and applying the result to a weapon- could you end up with multiple brand types on a single weapon?
Cheers
