I know you hit 'v' and select something in your inventory to hurl. Pretty simple. But I want to make a boomerang specialist and I want to make sure he won't be a gimp.
Beyond the Throwing ability's 'double throw', is there any way to get more than two throws per turn?
Of course, now that I want to try this out, I can't find a boomerang to save my life. Do they always automatically return to your inventory? Can you 'double throw' the same boomerang?
Do weapon brands and all every other normal/magical weapon bonus count when you throw something?

Have you checked the formulas in the help menu? In any cases, it's the same formula as melee damages, but uses the sum of dex and strength(and I said the sum, not the average, so it's even better). Yes, you'll be able to throw the same boomerang twice and brands will also apply. And in the currently uploaded version, I believe throwing boomerangs will cause them to duplicate , but it's fixed now. I just don't think the currently uploaded version includes the change...

Yep, I read the formulas. Good to know about double throw, boomerangs, and the brands.
But as far as I can tell, Double Throw is the only skill/feat/ability that allows you two throws in one move. Do items which grant extra attacks also give you extra free throws? Or is two per round the best you can do?
