Recently, some peoples reported problems downloading the newest version of Portralis, and this is mostly due to the traffics limit imposed by Geocities, which is very small. So, I'm wondering if anyone knows a better web page host that would be free. Not sure I'm ready to pay monthly fees for a domain yet, so for now, I'd rather look for a host. Howdy suggested megauploads, which is probably what I will try for now, but I'd still like to know any other free hosts that would be better that geocities. Or, if anyone has a domain/host, and would like to host the new release, feel free to post, it will be much appreciated!

Maybe you could add one more webpage to check: www.assembla.comI have shown you this link before, but I think it deserves some consideration. It adds a SVN server and, as far as I understand their information, also the ability to host files. ps. Obviously I am not affiliated with them .

I've checked it quickly, and it seems nice, but it seems like you have to sign up and invite team members to allow the downloading of files. I do not want to restrict the downloads to members of the forum only...

Well. I have tried it as well. Everything depends on your settings. For example, try my space: www.assembla.com/space/howdyPlease write, if you can access the example file - the old portralis source file. You should have a complete read access to it.

Looks NICE. And the free stuff allows 200 mb I think. More than enough for Portralis! I'll definitly check it out then! Goodbye Geocities! ;D
