A few suggestions for new spells, some are just utilities, some more powerful. Dig Spell Any possibility of a spell to dig walls (not permanent or Mountains). It would just make things a little quicker occasionally. Circle of Wall Damages & pushes back opponents and creates walls for the radius. Does not create a wall on your spot. Useful spell that not only damages but leaves you safe (except from ghosts etc). Probably should be quite expensive though, similar to fire fields perhaps. Phase Door and/or Teleport Just so I don't have to carry masses of scrolls all the time. Wraithform limited duration - could allow you to escape through walls etc.

I agree, I think a dig spell is necessary for a mage. Low strength makes digging through granite impossible and that makes certain quests impossible to complete. I propose that dig should also be subject to magnitude of power. A weaker power dig would dig through magma vein in one turn and a powerful dig will dig through granite in one turn. Otherwise a weaker dig could be cast several times to get through granite. A message such as "some mud slides off the granite (or quartz) wall"
Circle of wall, well unless you have a powerful dig this spell would be more trouble then it's worth. Also I don't much like the idea of it damaging and pushing back monsters already in its circle of effect. That seems to make it too powerful a spell. If the idea were to go ahead, a more powerful magnitude could create a greater radius of wall.
Phase door and teleport are a good idea. I also like the idea of dimension door. The greater the magnitude the more accurate and further the teleport but also very expensive. Standard teleport should of course be much cheaper then controlled teleport.
Wraithform could include some resistances but restrict attacking and spell casting. Larger magnitude could increase duration and resistances.
I was also wondering if spells are moddable at all? I'd like to look at their mechanics and how they work.

Right now, spells aren't moddable. They were made back when I didn't implement lua, and haven't done the conversion yet. (it will take time...)
I guess a school for utility spells could be useful, as is a translocation school for teleport spells and stuff.
