I found 2 more "i <= 52": in "elements.lua": the first one is about something called "Greed" counter, the second one about reflect ability; nothing about elements resistances.

elements.lua is the wrong script. Try passive.lua.

Hem ... tried every script in the script folder ... I obviously changed the 2 pointed by Variaz in the passive.lua
To summarize: I found 4 "i <= 52":
2 in passive.lua: changed both in "i <= 65"
2 in elements.lua: changed in "i <= 65" the one about the reflect ability

Tried these thanks - I still think the resistances are in the source though.

I agree with you on this

Glowing Orb's innate ranged attack is, uh... not using up time for me, or something along those. I can spam it without anything else getting to act.
Really annoying, as now I can't use it without feeling like I'm cheating, and it's my best method of damaging magic immunes...
Not sure if it extends to other innate ranged attacks. I'll update when/if I get around to testing it.

All right, here's a couple of fixes I made:
- Fixed all reported elements.lua errors. Also, yes, resistances are hard-coded, and they have been fixed. - Innate specials will no longer be multiplied by zero. Again, this is hard-coded for now, since I don't have a "menu" lua code yet. - Monsters inner ranged attacks will now take a turn. Indeed, in ranged.lua, there was no "energy_use = 100" before the return, so it didn't take any moves.

Any chance you will post a fix soon? (this week even?)

I guess I could even post one later today. It does contain the change that I did to Monsters, which gives less blows but elemental attacks as well, so I guess peoples could try it. It doesn't have the "weapon essence" suggestion yet though.
But with the blows limitation suggestion, I wonder if things won't actually become more balanced...hmm... Guess it's worth trying.

005-03 is still 005, I guess... in any case, fired it up, loaded up a mud golem to take things for a spin and... I start with 65 thousand hp. Um... base 005 starts with 252. Oopsie?
Quickedit: Tried a merfolk sorceress. 41k hp at start. Something's up, yah?

Odd... I just tried it, and the mud golem gives me 252 hp...
Did you correctly install the whole package, or did you just replace a few ones?

Whole package, new folder an' everything. I'll try re-downloading and see if it makes a difference.
Edit: Doesn't, even after re-download, same thing's happening. Would a save or somethin' help out any?

hmmm....wait...maybe I know...
Try this:
In passive.lua, go to line 127.
Replace: while (i <= 65) do
by
while (i < 65) do
It could be array related, I do think using "<=" is wrong here. My computer gives no errors, but who know how yours might behave...
