I invested in the Diviner's Wish ability to try to get a few spellbooks. Is it possible to wish for a Book of Alteration Magic [Raise Wisdom]?
I tried "Raise Wisdom" and got several items including a ring of sustain wisdom.
I tried Wisdom and got a nice collection on mithril weapons and armor. btw, mithril bracers are mispelled "mitril"

I'm an idiot. "Raise Wisdom" works. I just had to go to another location so a new dungeon would be generated.
Maybe now I can boost my wisdom to twist fate enough to wish for some really nice armor. Is there anything with a better base AC than Adamantium Full Plate?
Indeed there is. I just picked up a Titanuim full plate on level 100. Anything better than Titanium?

There's Blue Steel. The depth is 120 for the lesser items. (Titanium is 90, not 100).
For twisting levels enough to get these items however, how much wisdom do you have, and what level are you?

I was either level 26 or 27 with between 200 and 300 wisdom that I augmented to 909 with one raise wisdom spell and then 2400+ with another. I'm sure I could have done it a lot sooner, maybe level 16 or so. Maybe the raise spells should have a minimum duration.
Oh, and I had to weigh down the Q key. Any chance you could change the spell creation screen to make creating powerful spells easier? I'd like a good heal spell, but it just takes too long to make one.

Erg... seems like you just found a major exploit. Yes, you're right, really powerful spells takes a while to make. Perhaps a key to increase by 10 or 100 would be useful.

Speaking of exploits ...
Scrolls of item leveling plus large stacks of cheap armor from the shop are the ultimate get rich quick scheme

I believe the prismatic dragon plate mail is the best base AC armor you can get at 500, with depth 200. K_info.txt is your friend. And d**n, now I want to find a book of raise wisdom too...

You might as well just open k_info, and give 100d100 damages to a bronze dagger or something. Raise Wisdom is actually the HARD way to cheat.

Well, I wasn't serious about the raise wisdom cheat. I don't edit k_info (except to change mitril to mithril every release), but I do use it to figure out recipes sometimes when crafting.
