You can tunnel through chasms. It gives you the message of tunneling into granite walls.

Dual Weild 40 should yeild the special ability Dual Strike but it doesn't appear on the Shift U menu. Remember it has to be the BASE skill. Are you playing an elf by any chances? If not, and you really have 40 base Dual Wield, then it's a bug.

If not, and you really have 40 base Dual Wield, then it's a bug. The bug is either that the number is wrongly displayed or that Im not getting the feat. Your choice. I personally hate that I cant see the real numbers to be able to tell if something is at its base or not. No not playing an elf this time...half elf.

When you cancel a Zap (by pressing escape) it doesnt cancel. Instead, it fires, centred on your character. So if you forgot to scan that magic returning elite until it was too close, and you move to cancel, your spell can still hit if the monster is in the radius.
Is this a rod exlusive thing, or all spells in general? If its all spells you probably already knew XD
Anyways, quite a few deaths to that DX

Yeah I think thats just a spell thing in general...and a painful way to die for sure if you do more damage than youve got hp.

I'm not sure if it's a bug or not, but you're able to destroy the Prayer Room Key that you need to open a door during the main quest. I accidently did before going through the door it opens and it's not respawning when I leave the dungeon and come back so my character's stuck at that point in the game.

It's not really a bug, it's that there is no such things such as a "Quest" flag on items or NPCs, nor do I plan on adding one. I just hate them. It's not fun when you can't kill an NPC you really don't like, especially one that isn't even important to the storyline! Of course, the game won't reward that kind of bahaviors, so you can break quests, but nothing prevents you from doing so.
I could always set some important items to respawn forever(but only for the main quest related ones.). But no QUEST flag.

Travelling between nonmountainous and mountainous terrain frames can get you stuck in a mountainous area unable to leave or move...the only solution is if you can jump free of the area.

I decided to cheat and try out the end bless weapon and shining armor effects, and the reduce hit rate ability (i think) gives an error. In element.lua: 978 attempt to index global 'm_ptr' (a nil value), then the traceback stuff. It happens every time something is hit with the weapon.

There are a few spots in elements.lua where m_ptr is used. You can either change them to monster(m_idx) or set m_ptr=monster(m_idx) somewhere near the top of the function. I'm guessing variaz was intending to use m_ptr in place of calling the monster() function over and over, but didn't finish editing it.

So I was bored and decided to try out a Light dragon again...and discovered it has the SAME problems I reported 6 months+ ago...namely the attack always prompts for a) or b) even though they are identically labeled, and their attacks are magical returned not physical (which imho is crazy). How is a light dragon supposed to defeat a magic returning boss? run? lame.
