I noticed an interesting behavior combination with shields and the Warrior's Counterattack skill.
I was wading through the early levels of the undead dungeon with a non-branded weapon, but had the artifact Waterwall (+1000 water brand) Shield.
Whenever a ghost would come up and miss me, I'd counter attack it with my sword and do nothing of course.
Then I would use 'Accurate Attack' and select my shield as the weapon in order to bash him with the brand - that worked fine, and furthermore once I'd do that to any particular ghost, all counterattacks from that point on would strike with the shield as well.
Of course, for the next ghost I'd have to do the same thing, as the game will revert my 'counterattack' weapon to be my sword the moment I use it again.
Doesn't seem to be a bug - in fact the behavior is fairly convenient, but I wasn't sure if it was intentional.

Not really intentional, I believe Counterattack only uses the first weapon, and I didn't change it to let the player use one of the two weapons.
