I tried this effect many times but literaly nothing happened. I am afraid it isn't work properly.

Evolving is working fine for me with both 'd' and 'p' races. What group were you using? Also, some race groups require you to get to a pretty high level to evolve past the entry level forms. I think you need a level equal to the monsters depth as listed in r_info to be able to evolve into it. With 'd' dragons, you would need to be level 22 to evolve from a baby to young.

To evolve, the monster must have a depth lower or equel to it's level. Are you trying to evolve a high depth, yet low level monster? This could happen, for example, if you used summon specific to summon a high depth enemy on a low dungeon level.

I tried on a lvl30 black bear on dungeon lvl 19.
How is it works exactly?

Then I gues it should have evolved to a brown bear... Will have to check it out.

Yeah. I've been trying out Evolve with my Soul Guardian...
It doesn't seem to work on anything at any depth in the current build.
