This is another bug i ran across, but one i can't seem to replicate. Was in 1.8.0 i *THINK*. May still be around in modern versions of port, don't know since i can't replicate (since i can't determine what caused it). Unofrtunately my old computer microwaved itself so i don't have the copy of the savefile where it occured any longer, an my notes are also in a messeg up condition (i could try to retrieve if necessary.)
Anyway, whilst fighting my way through a dungeon, something, i don't recall what, summoned creatures. as i began to chop my way through the room, about halfway through my game... looped. I got a message at the top of the screen about 'the fire burns you' or continues burning you, or something like that. Every time i pressed a key to advance the more prompt, it repeate the message, yet neither i nor anything in the room was being afflicted with anything. afte weighting down my spacebar for 10 minutes and its still looping, i hit the X button on the window. This apparently interrupted, saved, and exited the program. Opening, i loaded savefile, am exactly where i left off, but everything was proceeding as normal...
What the hell hit me, what caused it, and is the bug still around?
If more information is needed, i can try to get my old comp running again to retrieve the savefile and notes i took on the event. (backed up the file for the messages)

Oh yes, I remember this one! But it has been fixed now. I don't remember what caused it, but it has never happened again ever since.
