I like the way wilderness looks! It feels much like Z-Angband, and I loved Z-Angband. The coordinates that you can get here and there, like those on the letter, are a nice touch too! There’s just one thing that I’d suggest to change, though I believe that this is already planned, only not yet realized for this beta. I think that each wilderness “screen” should be randomly generated only the *first* time you enter it, and then the layout should be saved. So that if you find a dungeon, go away, and then come back at another time, the dungeon would still be at the same location, and everything around would still look the same. Just to enhance the feeling of coherence, and (when chances for a dungeon won’t be 100%) to keep track of where every dungeon is. Like I said, I believe this is already planned for the final release, but I posted it nonetheless. Other than that, again, wilderness is great! Good job! ;D

This would indeed be a good idea, so you can explore the random dungeons again! Eventually, there will be more in the wilderness though. In addition to the various towns, dungeons and quests I will add, I plan on eventually generating some random buildings, with some random characters that will appear in them, making the wilderness truly fun and unique for every new characters. And with a total of 10000 cells to explore, you will have stuff to explore for a long time!

Cool!!! Just try to code it so that after the first visit of a new "cell", the cell would be generated and saved. This way, every time you would play a new game, the world would be different. On the other hand, *during* a game, the world would stay fixed. IMO, this would be the best way to implement wilderness. But it's your call in the end.
