When fighting leadership-style with large amounts of pets, one turn can take several minutes.
This is more of a baseangband problem then a NewAngband problem, but it becomes much larger with mass summons (which happen to be my favorite thing to do after years of dieing because of enemy summons.)
One thing I would love to have is an option to flush all messages that don't affect the player charcter, such as your summoned ____ hits the enemy's summoned ____ That way, I can be more involved in such fights instead of just summoning a room full of monsters and putting a heavy weight on the 5 key for a while.

Great idea!!! I totally agree!
Faster gameplay, quicker action, and reduced hazard due to the “rest-on-space” technique. ;D
I really wish that this could be implemented in the new version. Would it be hard to code, Variaz?

Yes, that would be a fun option to add to the game! It shouldn't be too hard to do either, and I guess summoning battles could then become more fun... But then, it's sometime good to know that your pets actually hit or miss the enemy... but I guess as an option, there wouldn't be any problems!
