The ability to get past boss monsters' damage reflection is only available to certain classes. Things like Wraith of Souls, piercing spells <element>, etc.
What I think would spread this ability to every class would be to have a fairly affordable potion and/or scroll that would give a buff to the player that would get past reflection. This would allow people to get past boss fights, if they happen to be carrying one of those with them.

Hm… A nice idea, but wouldn’t that be a bit too easy?
Currently, bosses and elites can be a tough nut to crack. One of the first things that a new player must learn is to know when to fight and when to flee. This is great IMHO – I love strategic decisions.
The other thing is that with returning bosses and elites, the multi-class system becomes a necessity! You must carefully choose your classes in order to get certain special abilities (like Accurate Strike, Magic Missile, Aura of Life…).
With the proposed scroll/potion, however, bosses and elites would simply lose their fame and flavor. You could stick to just one class, and still be able to blast everything to bits… I think that the entire game would lose some of its charm, too.
Just my 2 cents.

Reflection and immunities of bosses are what makes them hard to kill. If bosses were just normal monsters with more hp, they wouldn't be fun.
Some abilities do bypass returning/immunities, but that's what makes these abilities special! If a scroll of piercing was in the game(especially a "fairly abordable" one), some abilities such as Piercing Spells would become entirely useless. The rare Retrograde spell would also become worthless.
So... no, I probably won't implement this scroll.
