You recently amended the xp calculator to give zero xp if the character level, monster level, dungeon level and/or something else was off by some number or another. Basically, it was to avoid a player gaining too many xp off of worms. Problem is, half of the crap I'm killing now isn't giving me any xp. Stuff that's my level or higher, at dungeon levels very close to my own character level. Is there any way you can either revoke that 'fix' or make sure the beasts who spawn will give me xp? Killing for nothing isn't any fun.

I noticed this as well...in random dungeons...things that are the same level or a level higher tend to not give any class kills and little to no xp.

I think the system now used is ok - because it's forcing you to fight with a challenging monsters with level more then yours and enough depth, and to decide yourself - kill the easy monsters for a just a loot or leave them behind. But i agree that it makes gaining levels harder so i'm afraid to imagine how long will take getting level 50 or 75 in future releases of game

One thing I could do is scrap that, but make it so that monsters that multiply or summoned monsters do not give any experience. Also, this is not a bug. This should have been in the suggestion forum.

Its not a bug that if the depth level and the monster level are equal to or higher than yours you dont gain xp? really? what exactly is the algorithm? I was finding killing level 20 depth 20 monsters did not consistantly give xp or class kills as a level 20.

If you're in a quest, you won't gain experience from non-unique enemies, period.
If not, if the enemy's depth is 25% of your level or lower, you won't gain any experience either.
That's the current formula. Of course, it could be changed, but then, we have to do something about summons and breeders. Probably make it so summons and breeded monsters don't give any experience.

then you agree its anomolous to get no xp/kill for mobs your level or higher on a non quest level? (assuming correct depth)
