I have noticed that the magic brands on gauntlets don't seem to work when doing a regular attack with my golem, and I'm pretty sure they haven't with other, 'regular' characters, either. Is this working correctly?

I *think* there used to be a bug with gloves, but I believe it has been fixed... not sure though, will definitly have to check it out. I was kinda sure it worked fine though...at least for normal characters. Haven't tried the Monster race though...

I should load up my dwarf and see if it works with him if I can find some some branded gauntlets. I didn't bother last night, but I should be able to soon.

Checked it out on a dwarf, and it worked as advertised. Of course, he would never normally fight that way, but at least it's good to know he could if he wanted to.

Actually, just remembered that monster attacks does not uses gloves at all in the code. This is not really a bug actually... I didn't want monsters to have access to weapons, and that would include gloves... So not too sure I will even change that...

Interesting. I suppose I'll regret it for mentioning it, but a lot of the monster classes can uses weapons. For example, the golems I mentioned can use weapons, although they cannot put missiles in the quiver. Many of the others such as various humans, humanoids, etc. can use them as well.
