I had a new bug in 1.8 show up. I died in a random (other than town) dungeon, and when I popped back in, I was stuck in the trees around the outside of the town. Since I had absolutely not equipment and no teleporting ability, I was stuck. Jumping didn't work, either. I'm not sure what would have happened if I had aborted before it autosaved, but after it has autosaved, I cannot play the character anymore since he cannot move and comes back in at that location even if he starves to death.
I had the same thing happen to a character that just recalled out of one of those dungeons, too, but I had a teleport scroll that time, so it didn't matter.

The bug is that when you revive from a random dungeon, you are transported back to the last town you visited. However, your position corresponds to your last position in the wilderness. So if the town's equivalent position is a wall, well... you'll be stuck in a wall... This is something that will be fixed in the next beta. Currently, every towns have a starting position. If you die or recall from a random dungeon, you will return to that start position in the town, and not to a random spot.
