Ok, I was meesing around with the Iron dagger you start with and an Iron short sword that I bought. with just the dagger, I do 6 hits. with the sword, I do 1 hit. with dagger on main and sword on secondary, I do 1 hit with both. with sword on main and dagger on secondary, I do..... 6 hits with the sword and 1 hit with the dagger?
Yeah, that could be a problem.

Well, it's the last one that seems to be the problem. Without the proper Dual Wield skill, you will have penalities. But the last one you mentionned is a bit weird. You shouldn't get the 6 attacks with the sword, obviously. I guess I'll have to review my code...

I'm now running an Elf, and I wanted to focus on rogue skills, so I thought dual wield would be one of the good skills for a "thief" to have. I had a similar bug using a saber and the starting dagger. I was able to put the saber in the main slot and get 7 blows with it and one with the dagger. When wielding the saber by itself I could only get one blow. That felt like cheating, so I didn't keep it that way. Now several levels latter I wanted to experiment with the dual wield, and I'd saved some skill points to try this out. I saved my character and got two daggers (1.2 lbs each). According to the dual wield description, penalties disappear at 3X the average weight of the two weapons (which means 3.6, rounded to 4 skill points in my case). Well the penalties to hit are gone, and my main dagger still gets 10 blows (the same as when it was a solo weapon). However my second dagger only shows as 1 blow per round on the character screen. According to the description shouldn't my second dagger be getting 5 blows? I know the second weapon doesn't get the full 10 blows until dual wield reaches 20 points, but the description says it should get half the normal blows. What's up with this? Like I said, I was experimenting with a saved character so I upped the dual wield to 10 points and still only got 1 blow per round with the second dagger. Am I the only one with this problem, or am I misinterpreting what the skill is supposed to do? Thanks.

With two daggers, you would be getting 10 and 5 blows, not 10 and 1.
It's buggy I guess... Oh boy...and with the two-hands system, you can now add shields and ranged weapons to the main hands. Now, this is going to get "fun"....

Now I didn't go out and try it, so is the bug actually in the number of blows, or in how the character screen shows them? I know it's probably a real bug, and not just a display problem, but I wanted to offer hope...
