Well, just tried it out with a Skeleton Hero...and it crashed. So it seems there IS a problem... And the 'f' bug with the Skeleton Archer is there too, and I bet every other archers do that. Oh dear....

This isn't a very major bug, as money seems much easier to get in this version, but it can be abused anyway. Summoned items may be sold to the store. I only have the 'Conjure Item' effect learned so far, but I would guess the same applies with magical and special versions of the spell as well.
The items may be bought back from the store. If equipped though, they disappear.

oh...... selling summoned golden dragon mail? cha-ching! or blue steel weapons... Magic items are easily obtainable due to elite and boss monsters, many which you just end up selling.

The warrior ability Counter Attack does not work properly. When an enemy misses me, I get the message "You counter attack!" and it looks to throw a bolt-like spell. However, no damage is ever dealt.
==Edit== I should have mentioned that I was playing an unarmed character.

With you having made me realize how effective Counter Attack would be with my current character, I'll definitly look at it as quickly as possible! ;D

Has the monster bug been fixed? I am still crashing when I attack anything with a normal HTH attack.

Thanks for getting back on this, I really want to play the fire monk, but it is real hard with the bug, keep up the good work, I know more than likely you do not do this 24/7, so I am sure happy with what you have done so far.

I haven't forgotten about it But as you said, I don't work on this 24/7, and not sure how long this one will take to fix. In the meantime, play a regular character, choose the Monk class, multi-class to Elemental Lord and take Fist of Elements along with the Fire element, and you should be fine.

Well... the monster melee and the monster ranged bugs took me about....hmm... 5-10 min to fix. The ranged bug was simply a "return" command that I forgot to put in the source code. And other bug was script-related! I made a kobold hunter, and after it's two melee attacks, game crashed. I changed line 128 of combat.lua where it said: "return 0" to "return" And guess what? No more crashes!! Hopefully they're fixed for good now.

This may be intended, or something simply overlooked: Detect Stairs effect does not reveal shafts.

I've never even touched the detect stairs code! So can't say it's a bug or an overlook yet...

You can no longer sell conjured items. Better start accumulating money before the 0.2.1 release!

Yeah. None of the monsters I tried could use their innate attacks. I don't recall which I tried. Equip them with a weapon (if they're a type that can hold one) and they're fine.
