This place is for reporting the bugs of the current release.
However, do NOT post here regarding the random crash bug when drinking potions, walking on water, lava or using self-projections of any other kinds. This particular bug will have it's own section.
Also take a look at the previous reports, a bug may have already been reported. Of course, nothing prevents you from posting it again... but the shorter and simpler this thread, the easier it will be to sort things out.

Not sure if this is a bug or just something weird with the mystic spellcasting that Im not getting. Decided to add Harm to my repertoire and built a spell using the M menu. Then I realized I had stats and sp and ap to spend. I upgraded wis+2, Mysticism 10 points (to 60 total 40 actual). I also upped Wisdom Casting (1st ability) to 4 from 2. I then rebuilt the Harm spell thinking Id get SOME kind of discount. Needless to say I was utterly disappointed. Apparently none of the things I increased has any effect on spell building?

You increased Mysticism, but the next reduction is at 50 BASE skill. So right now, you're not at 33% reduction yet, you still need 10 more points in BASE Mysticism skill. Wisdom Casting increases the chance of success of spells that aren't 100% success rate, but doesn't decrease creation cost. For that, you'll want the second ability, Mystical Power, which decreases the cost of Mysticism spells.

Yeah increased that by 4 points and saw nothing significant. But maybe I need to reconstruct the character from the start and see how changing points around works.

So apparently the (R)est function is completely broken. Which makes turning around from night time to day time randomly extremely difficult and irritating. Essentially one has to stand in place and pass the turn manually for thousands of turns.
I tested this by resting for different increments then checking the (ctrl-T)ime. Resting doesn't change the time at all but waiting with ('5') does.

Resting should work fine, at least it does for me.
Anything special about your character? Such as passive effects? (songs, Blessed Blood Priest ability, etc...)

If it doesn't work with passive abilities on there should at least be some warning to turn off said ability. I think it was not working on my new character (a warrior) either though. So meh.

Does it not work with a new Warrior? I can use the Rest command just fine...
Are you using Telepathy? If you detect enemies nearby, you won't be able to rest. That's not a bug.

I do believe it was the song on the bard. On the Warrior no idea why. I have never had trouble detecting monsters with Telepathy so I would have known if there were monsters (in the town, and outside) unless thats a new feature we don't know about?

No, telepathy has not changed at all. What I mean is that if you see enemies, it won't let you use the rest command. This isn't new, it's always been like this.

The change I was referring to was two fold: monsters on the outside, and undetectable at that. Not that I believe either was responsible for the lack of resting. I don't know what was causing it but it was occurring outside not in a dungeon, not in a quest area. Otherwise why would I care? The point was to clear off the darkness making it hard to find the dungeon entrance.

I'm getting the same thing on my priest(but not on my elemental lord), whenever i try to do a repetetive action(opening doors, resting, etc) it fails as if there was a monster in sight, even in town

I'm wondering if it's the passive effects like this one that's causing this. So far, Gando may have had a song active(very similar to Blessed Blood), and if that's your case as well, then it's most likely the cause of the bug.

Another thing i've noticed: agility doesn't seem to be increasing my defender's AC/to_a bonus at all (btw, what exactly is to_a?) edit: nor does dex and tohit for that matter
