I enjoy the monsters. I've tested pretty much all of them (yes, even the "!," which I submit is even weaker than than the fruit bat ) I tend to miss some of the class skills sometimes (especially magic-related ones), and have looked longingly at certain evolutions I'll probably never attain, and really want to be able to evolve into certain Nightmares, but, overall, the monsters can be plain-out fun to play.

Same dungeon (level 43 in fact), boss level, boss is a monster that teleports when it takes damage has 18mil life x4 lives...and never takes more than the minimal hit if I swing at it (it takes the magic damage from my brand and warps away before the phys damage hits)...seems to me it should at least wait for me to finish my attacks before teleporting. Otherwise it is impossible to kill. Could be stuck doing this forever...literally since there is no way out. On that topic, I assume this is the same thing the planar phantoms do -- I've noticed that if I hit it with a branded item, it teleports after the first blow, but stays for the duration if I hit it with a normal physical attack (in the latest case, Dragons Fists cause it to teleport but the Titan gauntlets don't.) It's actually an advantage for me -- I just hole up between some walls so it rarely has line-of-sight and whack it when it comes through the wall. It teleports, I repeat. Much safer than going toe-to-toe with them and easier than teleporting away every so often to heal. Obviously, this is problem if you don't do much damage.
