The first noticable thing to me was that the title in the Program still says build 003. Plus this thread needed to be made anyway.

Bizarre display error. It seems there is something funky going on with the internal graphics part of the game. My empty slots go from (leveling item) blue to (crafted item) orange and items on the floors of the dungeon change symbol and color apparently all at random intervals. (but not like the chaos effects of Tome/Fangband) the red circled areas are the buggy items I noticed. a steel wand decomposes??? Oh and notice how the items are all identified....Bee sting wasnt, nor was anything else before this happened. This is reminscent of the morgothian curse but worse in some ways... the very basic assumptions all seem to be thrown out the window in favor of "wth??"

Note that it all went back to normal after I reloaded it. So I dont know what caused the glitch but apparently it was cosmetic only.

It appears that amulets come preidentified.

Did you open your character with the normal application, or did you use the converter? If you didn't use the converter, seems like it could have been a loading error, which then came back to normal once you reloaded, since it was then saved as a 004 file. (although I would have rather expected it to not open at all...)

"Batter, Batter! A Swing and A miss!" No...it is not an OLD character as I said I just started this character meaning in 004....if you have to start all new characters in the converter too that could be awkward. Hmm I thought I typed it...must have been erased with the first attempt at posting the bug. Sorry not an old character, made it with the new program.

I never thought to check before but you can dismiss the guard on the bandit cave since hes a pet. I suggest perhaps quest related monsters be undismissable if they must be friendly. Not that it breaks the quest or anything but it's a minor cheat.

This isnt so much a bug report as a question: What is resistance to Unknown? I soul bound a prismatic dragon to a ring of brilliance and got 3% resistance to Unknown on it.

"Unknown" is anything that isn't defined, and isn't supposed to be available.
I found the problem though. The Baby Prismatic Dragon had an invalid resistance line in the r_info, which I just fixed. Thanks for pointing it out!

Not that it breaks the quest or anything but it's a minor cheat. LOL! ;D But I will change it to not work on anything that is a townsfolk, a guard or that has a dialog associated to it. I'm sure this will eventually be abusable.

Namira is apparently Invulnerable again. I have been playing a Soul Guardian Wisdom caster and even at my maximum castable spell (power 182 with a wis of 138) ever she takes 0 damage....though I manage the imps very easily with my 150 spell (which deals over 100k to the imps). Is it just that we are not meant to beat her? Or do I need to exploit the Raise Wisdom spell as well? (Im not sure that would even help)
-=edit== Totally frustrated and unable to figure this out I decided to throw in a few msg_prints in the script where the greed soak takes place...and then I realized...the imps are vulnerable to light so the starting damage is doubled. So in effect my spells would have been useless against them too if they werent light based, unless I was 100% naked and then Id die due to lack of health. Even playing with the utmost care would never allow this character to survive naked against Namira or even the imps at certain junctures. They just move too fast to avoid taking damage. So this is the reason Namira was invulnerable.
Which means Noncelestial Wisbased Casters cant hybrid without being unable to finish this quest. This particularly hurts the Soul Guardian who is fairly weak to begin without their items and who MOST wants to capture Namira's soul. But c'est la vie. etc.
So I chose to go the other route instead.

Equiping a long sword still triggers the "are you sure you want to equip this with a shield" message even when you dont own a shield much less have anything equipped at all in slot b.

The hand of Evil soul gives Unknown Brand to weapons/gloves/arrows. That particular "Unknown" is actually the standard Sleep(which I just added to the list of named elements). The thing is that Soul Bind will scroll through all the monster's attacks, and that the last attack that is non-physical and use it as the weapon's brand. In this case, the Hand of Evil's sleep attack is the last, and it uses it as the brand. This can sometimes produce interesting effects.
