I haven't looked at it for a while, but I'm pretty sure that's my doing. I don't think the combo really is that special, but I wanted at least one of the components to be of a level deep enough that you couldn't easily make it out of level. I also didn't want to have to add a new alchemical component, so that's how I did it. *shrugs* I'm pretty sure the combo doesn't make a lot of logical sense, but I did it for game play. I expect someone could find a better way to do it.

Alchemy ingredients do not always stack properly (assuming you have the options for stacking set) when decomposed. It seems something changes in the nature of ingredients that have been decomposed vs those that have been found. This should not be so.

The difference is that that found ingredients can be sold in shops while decomposed ingredients cannot be sold. I agree that from point of player that is strange and you won't sell ingredients in any case, but from point of game all is ok.

So not sure if this one is a bug but I enchanted the Sword of Balance and gave it leveling and it's damage die has not changed since I started leveling it. Other leveling weapons do gain dice and sides but this one does not for some reason.
(note by enchanted I mean I used a scroll of magic item on it)
