First in-game bug I've encountered -- Repeating commands seems to be non-working. Makes locked doors a pain...

This thread is now sticky.
I believe I saw a similar bug when trying to remove a rubble. Instead of digging until removed, it asked for a direction. Never did that before... I wonder what changed though, because as far as I know, I haven't touched this code...

Throwing item to monster don't decrement count of items. No feats, abilities etc. I throw one of 20 flasks of oil to Monstrous Rat. But in inventory there are still 20. If i throw them to wall, items counter decrements normally.

It may have a few bugs. Yesterday, I found a bronze-bladed boomerang, and throwed it. It returned to me as expected...except it also dropped a copy of itself on the ground. ....uh oh, I just revealed an item-duping cheat with boomerangs. But you won't use this for easy money. No one cheats on this board. Am I right, danath?

Well, I don't like to use cheats at all in games, only in extreme cases (the void in Daggerfall, for example). I don't know if it's a bug, but I used tunnel at a wall having "repeat obvious commands" ON and there was a counter starting at 99 for repeating the command and I had to press enter continuously for it to get to 0 (or ESC to cancel). If there are a pile of 2 corpses on the floor and you press g it says: "there is nothing here" Also I'm playing a Paladin right now and I have the ability "aura of life" and when I move there is always an animation around the char like a "breath" attack. Is this intended? It's a little annoying after a while...

Or the reflecting/immune monsters in Portralis... Well anyway, "aura" abilities do emit energies, that's what affects enemies around you! Would be kind of difficult to remove the animation for auras too...

If you have the "don't pickup monster corpses" option set, that is what results in the "there is nothing there" message when there are multiple corpses on one space.
That breath-like effect is the aura of life ability happening. The element lord's aura is the same way. You can reduce the base delay factor in the options screen so the animation runs quicker. However, this will also effect all animations (your spells, monster spells, etc). It can make it hard to see when a monster casts something at you.

I have noticed this as well, and it's a bit annoying. I don't remember changing any of that code either, so I don't know what's wrong. Something I'll have to investigate I guess...

One more problem: burning and venomous shots abilities of marksman are useless against phisyc immune elites - if monster immune to shot, later damage (later shots actually)are not fired.
And problem with changing weapons: when wearing two-handed weapon after crossbow it appears in a (b) slot, and don't hit monsters if dual-wielding is turned off.

I found a blue (nothing) on the floor after some fighting. I read a scroll of identify on it, and its listed as a Sword of Devastation. I can't equip it, which makes its "unique" property as a sword of devastation useless. This seems like it might be a bug.

mmm I think I got another bug....I'll explain: I have a cowl equipped on my char that has 1% resistance to physical damage....and enemies attacks do not make my hp go down! At first I thought that I had messed too much with elements.lua and combat.lua but I restored the original files and the same keeps happening.......when I unequip my cowl the enemy does the normal damage.... Magic does the normal damage.

It's possible that it's due to a preset treasure drop of a monster. I know monsters dropped "nothing" due to inexistant tvals. I thought I fixed all of them, but I may have forgotten a few...

Magic does the normal damage. Trying this right away. Fixed. At line 2132 I think, there's a code that reduces the damages by the percentile resistance. However, there's a "* 100" that shouldn't be there! Remove it, and it should work.

I can't really remember, I think it might have been an elite hound, or maybe some variety of elemental imp, but then again, I ran into a lot of those today. Sorry I can't be more specific.
